1. BOOKING & PAYMENT

    •    Full payment is required to confirm all choreography, private instruction, or wedding packages.

    •    Accepted payment methods include credit/debit card, bank transfer, or approved digital payments.

    •    All rates and services are clearly listed at the time of booking.

2. CANCELLATION POLICY

    •    Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

    •    Cancellations within 24 hours of a scheduled session are charged in full and non-refundable.

    •    Reschedules (with 24-hour notice) may be applied to a future date within 30 days of the original lesson.

    •    Lesson packages must be completed within 3 months of purchase. Unused sessions after this period are forfeited.

3. REFUND POLICY

    •    All lesson packages, choreography services, and wedding dance products are final and non-refundable.

    •    Creative work begins immediately upon booking — including planning, choreography design, and music editing.

    •    Refunds are not available for change of plans, scheduling conflicts, or unused sessions.

4. WEDDING DANCE CREATION & CHOREOGRAPHY

    •    Each Wedding Dance Creation is a custom, handcrafted routine built around your chosen song, style, and story.

    •    Includes lifetime access to your private instructional video and up to two optional digital feedback rounds.

    •    Once choreography work has begun, the project is considered fulfilled in part and non-refundable.

    •    Edits or modifications beyond the original choreography may incur an additional fee.

5. ON-SITE WEDDING REHEARSAL DIRECTION

    •    Rehearsal direction includes up to 6 hours of on-site coaching for the couple, parents, and wedding party.

    •    Local (Charleston, SC) and Regional (within 5 hours driving distance) rates are available.

    •    Extended time beyond 6 hours is billed hourly or per diem, as agreed in advance.

    •    Regional services require coverage of travel and lodging expenses as discussed prior to booking.

6. STUDIO FLOOR FEES (FOR PRIVATE SESSIONS)

    •    When private instruction occurs in a rented studio, a $15 floor fee per session applies.

    •    This fee is paid directly to the studio or added to your session total.

    •    If a late cancellation occurs (within 24 hours), you may still be responsible for the studio fee if the space was reserved and billed.

7. PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS

    •    Punctuality and preparedness are essential — sessions begin and end promptly as scheduled.

    •    Clients are expected to arrive ready to learn, with proper footwear and attire suited to movement.

    •    Steve Edwards Dance maintains a safe, respectful, and professional environment for all participants.

8. EMERGENCY & SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES

    •    In cases of medical emergencies or significant life events, exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

    •    Communication is key — please reach out as soon as possible to discuss alternate options.

9. AGREEMENT & ACKNOWLEDGMENT

    •    By booking, submitting payment, or participating in any Steve Edwards Dance service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all policies stated herein.

    •    Payment confirms acceptance of these terms, including our cancellation, refund, and liability policies.

    •    This agreement ensures mutual respect for your time, investment, and the creative process entrusted to our care.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

    •    Dance instruction and performance preparation involve physical movement and personal participation.

    •    By engaging in any Steve Edwards Dance session, you acknowledge and accept that such activity carries inherent risk.

    •    You agree to assume full responsibility for your own safety and well-being during all instruction.

    •    Steve Edwards Dance and its instructors shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damages arising from participation in any dance-related activity, whether occurring before, during, or after your scheduled session.

11. ACTS OF GOD & UNFORESEEN EVENTS

    •    In the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including, but not limited to, acts of God, illness, natural disasters, government restrictions, venue closures, or unforeseen emergencies — Steve Edwards Dance reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or postpone services.

    •    Refunds will not be issued for such occurrences; however, every reasonable effort will be made to honor your booking at a mutually agreed future date.

    •    All adjustments will be handled with fairness, integrity, and respect for your time and investment.
